Open Publishing Fest

Open Publishing Fest celebrates communities developing open creative, scholarly, technological, and civic publishing projects. Together, we find new ground to share our ideas.

This is at once a collaborative and distributed event. Sessions are hosted by individuals and organizations around the world as panel discussions, fireside chats, demonstrations, and performances. We connect those points to bring them in conversation with one another and map out what’s next.

We seek to build networks of resilience and care for people working on new ways to develop and share knowledge.

Pluto

A group of highly talented engineers and researchers who are passionate about scholarly communication.
We’re here to break down barriers in academia.

Not only do we enjoy solving problems surrounding the academia world, but we also plan to open a new era of research and academia through new forms of exchanging information and knowledge. By supporting universities and scholars through technology, we believe scholarly communication can fully be powered by researchers.
We provide a SaaS solution that includes both a discovery and academic search engine customized for your institution.
It also comes with a consultancy-based solution, in which we provide real feedback on how you can cut back on your subscriptions based on what your researchers need and don’t need, as well as how to provide the most resourceful environment for your scholars and researchers.

We help walk through your subscriptions and bundles, and visually compare search results to identify what improvements and reductions can be made for your university.
